vazios é o primeiro álbum da dupla bella e cadu.

No lugar de intensa instrumentação ou da valorização de gestos coesos o que ganha à frente no disco são sons produzidos pelos próprios mecanismo das máquinas utilizadas. O pulso da variação de corrente elétrica, o "hum" causado pelo mal contato de cabos, sons de rolagem e da "marca d'água" do reprodutor de fita k7, suas falhas de reprodução e seus botões sendo pressionados, risos de fundo, toque, suor, silêncio e distância. A valorização do que seria maquiado ou descartado. À medida que o álbum se desenrola, começam a surgir os rastros de uma formação musical (ritmo, voz, texturas) mas que tendem a se esvaziar. Foram utilizados no processo uma bateria eletrônica, fitas cassete, sintetizador e microfone de contato.



vazios is the first duo recording by Bella and Cadu Tenório.

In the place of intense instrumentation or of the valorization of cohesive gestures, the disk's momentum comes from sounds produced by the mechanisms of the machines used. The pulse of the electric current variation, the ''hum''caused by the bad cable contact, scrolling sounds, and the sound from the tape player's watermark. It's playback failures and the buttons being pressed, background noises, touch, sweat, silence, and distance. The valorization of what would be masked or discarded. As the album unfolds, traces of a musical formation (rhythm, voice, textures) begin to emerge but are quickly emptied. An electronic drum kit, cassette tapes, synthesizer, and a contact microphone were used in the process.
