COISAS QUE MATAM apresenta o álbum '' /// //// '' por Ricardo Carioba em cassete e streaming digital

As nove faixas da fita nos levam por uma viagem espacial. Construídas como nas esculturas, partem de um processo de subtração e contorno, em vez da tentadora adição de camadas sobre camadas de som. Juntas, elas trabalham em dois sentidos. Um, extremamente atual, é a materialização de uma ideia de como os sons, de forma física, podem constituir uma arquitetura particular, criando "espaços dentro do espaço”. A segunda é a criação de uma narrativa pós-genero, em que o centro é a liberdade de se produzir sozinho, deixando que o caos e a imprevisibilidade sejam os condutores de uma viagem pessoal, de uma estética que parte da intersecção entre a cultura da música eletrônica percussiva quanto da composição clássica contemporânea, buscando confrontar seus lugares-comuns. COISAS QUE MATAM presents the álbum '' /// //// '' by Ricardo Carioba in cassete and digital streaming.

The nine tracks of the tape take us on space travel. Built as in the sculptures, they start from a process of subtraction and contour, instead of the tempting addition of layers on layers of sound. Together they work in two directions. One, extremely current, is the materialization of an idea of ​​how sounds, made of physical forms, can constitute a particular architecture, creating "spaces within space." The second one is the creation of a post-genre narrative, in which the center is the freedom to produce alone, letting chaos and unpredictability be the drivers of a personal journey, an aesthetic that starts from the intersection between the percussive electronic music culture and contemporary classical composition, seeking to confront their commonplace.
