COISAS QUE MATAM presents the EP “percussive thoughts” by alys in cassette tape and digital streaming.



Composed during the beginning of 2019, “percussive thoughts” consists of a 3-track + 1 mix EP which uses a mixture of field recordings, live sessions, processed drums, and syncopated rhythm. By crafting this sound space, alys presents a per(cussive)sonal expression of the repetitive cycles of winter days, diving into a more introspective period of thoughts. In the B-side the togetherness of the selected tracks builds up a 30-minute mixtape presenting the idea of a soundtrack to be served in cold mornings seasoned with foggy thoughts.



alys is a brazilian DJ/producer and is currently based in Berlin.

Criando esse contexto sonoro, alys apresenta uma experiência pe(rcussiva)ssoal de dias cíclicos de inverno, fundida na introspecção de seus pensamentos. No lado B da fita há uma mixtape de 30 minutos, criando uma trilha sonora para manhãs frias junto a pensamentos nebulosos.
